Fee
Sessions are scheduled for 50 minutes and are $180.
While I do not accept insurance, I can provide superbills, which you can submit for possible reimbursement with your insurance company.

As much as we’d love to be able to just shut anxiety off, can you imagine how long early humans would’ve lasted without it? While it would’ve been super helpful to analyze every little choice and move after an encounter with a leopard, it’s not so helpful when we’re lying in bed at night, agonizing over that awkward thing we said 4 years ago. Together, we’ll work to find new ways to manage your anxiety so it’s not taking center stage of your life.

Obsessive Compulsive Disorder doesn’t always look like what we’ve seen on TV. It’s not all cleaning and checking locks (though that can happen too). It’s also intrusive, obsessive thoughts. These are the thoughts that probably aren’t true, but they sure as hell feel true. In our sessions, we’ll work on changing your relationship with these obsessive and intrusive thoughts, giving you more freedom to live the kind of life you want to live.

Sure, sometimes we all feel like we’re not quite measuring up. When it becomes problematic is when our self esteem starts getting in the way of the things we care about. On top of those “I’m not good enough” or “I’m not doing enough” thoughts, there’s the worry of “what if they see me for who I really am?” Those are the kind of thoughts that really keep us back. We’ll talk about how to handle those thoughts and learn how to build a meaningful life.
How it works
Prior to your first session, I’ll send you all of the intake paperwork and consents to fill out virtually through a secure platform. For virtual therapy, you’ll receive a Zoom link for your video session a couple of days day before our session.
During your first session, we’ll get to know each other a bit while figuring out what you want to get out of our work together. This first session is about an hour long to help me get a sense of what’s going on. Every session after this will be about 45 to 55 minutes. Payment is collected after your session through the card we have on file. A credit card is required to schedule your first appointment.

You may have out-of-network benefits available through your insurance plan. Superbills are available, which you can submit for possible reimbursement with your insurance company.
Due to state laws and licensing requirements, virtual sessions can only be held with individuals who are physically located in Maryland or Washington, D.C. at the time of the session.
